2024 Course Schedule

Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 6:00-9:30pm, for 7 weeks.

January 7th - February 20th, Tuesday -Thursday 6-9:30pm

March 4th - April 24th, Tuesday - Thursday 6-9:30pm (SB March 18th-20th no class)

May 5th - June 19th, Tuesday - Thursday 6-9:30pm

July 8th - August 21th, Tuesday - Thursday 6-9:30pm

September 2nd - October 16th,  Tuesday - Thursday 6-9:30pm

October 28th - December 18th, Tuesday - Thursday 6-9:30pm (Thanksgiving no class)

Medical Assisting Training in 7 Weeks!

West Texas Professional Training is committed to getting you a new career in Medical Assisting! Our fast, hands-on course gives you exactly what you need to be successful! Our instructor is the best of the best, and our supplemental admin staff will help you jump start into the medical profession.

Learn in person, hands-on skills including phlebotomy, vitals signs, ECG’s and so much more! Students are trained to be a nationally registered Clinical Medical Assistant (NRCMA). Upon graduation of the course our students are prepared to pass the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) Clinical Medical Assistant test, proctored at our school.

A nationally registered clinical medical assistant (NRCMA), is able to practice in a medical clinic anywhere in the United States with this certification.

  • Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6-9:30pm for seven weeks.

  • Kinn’s Medical Assistant 15th edition, Blood Pressure kit, CPR & BLS for healthcare providers certification, embroidered school scrubs, graduation cap, and all materials required are included in tuition

  • Lecture & hands on classes

  • Clinics that teach you each aspect of Medical Assisting including phlebotomy, vitals signs, first aid, ECG’s and so much more!

  • Students work on models, each other, and patients

  • Maximum class size is 12 students

  • Tuition $4495.00, in-house payment plans available

  • NAHP Test fee: $75, proctored at our school

  • 40 hour Externship placement is offered at several different medical clinics, including Covenant Medical Group and Grace Clinic Medical Clinic, UMC Hospital, TTU School of Medicine and many other medical offices- allowing a variety of experiences

  • Job recruiters often come to visit class to give you employment options

  • Job placement is our utmost priority, and much assistance is given, including resume preparation and printing
